The Akyman Group and its subsidiaries (collectively "Akyman" or the "company") are sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. The company believes it is important that you know how it treats the information it receives about you on the Internet.In general, you can visit Akyman on the Web without telling the company who you are or revealing any information about yourself.
Akyman's Web servers collect the domain names, not the e-mail addresses, of visitors. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. Akyman may use this information to measure the content of its Web site and improve its use.
There are times, however, when Akyman will need information from you such as your name and address. You will be notified at the time of collection how the company will use the information. Furthermore, Akyman is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to the Site for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products using such information.
Akyman uses the Westpac Banking Corporation's security capabilities with respect to transmitting credit card information over the web to complete an order. All transactions are processed through 128bit (or higher) SSL encryption and meet AIS/SDP (PCIDSS) security capabilities. This website is checked each month to ensure constant security standards are maintained.
